WE ARE BRIDGES
Götaälvbron, 2021
On June 12, 2021, seventeen dance artists were the last civilians to be on the 84 year old bridge of Götaälv in Gothenburg right before its demolition process began. We are bridges is a historical moment and a ceremonial artistic work where we say goodbye to the old and welcome the new. The film works as a memorial over the bridge and its history and manifests the strength of a community. Here, human vulnerability is depicted in contrast to the hard metal and cement structures that hold the construction.

PALABRA
A dance film
In a dreamlike environment inspired by both the old fairy tale and the very real rituals of life and religion and the writer’s practice the performers in Palabra sense there is something hidden, that may only be found if they listen with all their senses. Palabra thus may mean word, but this film is also deeply aware that the word and the letter may be silent; like the Hebrew letter Alef.
