Saturday, April 29, we celebrate International Dance Day. Dance Remainings conducts the event Humanography for the fifth year in a row, this time in the area around Götaplatsen.
The project gathers several dancers, choreographers and artists together to explore the urban environment with dance and movement and make dance art visible in the public space. Spectators can come and go as they please to the various choreographic events that take place throughout the afternoon/evening. Humanography works to strengthen Gothenburg’s free dance scene and take dance outside the traditional stage space and meet a new audience. This year, some nationally and internationally based dance artists are also taking part.
The project takes place in collaboration with Danscentrum Väst and the Ballet Academy and with the support of the City of Gothenburg and the Culture Council.
